About Us:
The National Central Cooling Company PJSC (Tabreed) is a public listed company on the Dubai
Securities Exchange. Tabreed provides district cooling services to high density population
areas. Major customers include UAE Military, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Ferrari World,
Dubai Metro, Etihad Towers, World Trade Centre Abu Dhabi, Marina Mall and UAE University,
as well as several other hotels, hospitals and residential and commercial towers.
Tabreed has several affiliate and subsidiary companies operating throughout the GCC,
including Qatar District Cooling Company, Bahrain District Cooling Company, Saudi District
Cooling Company, Tabreed Oman SAOC, S&T;Cool District Cooling Company and Industrial
City Cooling Company.
Tabreed commenced its operation in 1998 and has constructed several cooling plants over
the last 16 years. At the end of 2017, its connected cooling capacity had exceeded one million
refrigerant tons (RT) enabling significant savings in energy consumption, costs and carbon
dioxide emissions. Tabreed has 800+ employees, running the district cooling plants and
providing relevant maintenance services.
Job Purpose:
As an HCM Consultant, you will engage with the HR department senior managers to analyse
the current business process bottlenecks and pain areas, propose and implement solutions
based on market best practices.
You will provide consultancy to Tabreed to analyse identified pain points, requirements, and
existing business processes. You will then apply your strong understanding of Oracle JD
Edwards EnterpriseOne HRMS to promote and implement best practices and engineer
solutions that are compliant with UAE labour law, and with Tabreed internal policies.
You will work closely with HR senior managers and IT project managers, in a matrix structure,
to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality solutions. Your work will require you to be on-site
at Tabreed offices.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide professional consulting services to Tabreed throughout the full cycle of the
project
Functional analysis of the requirements and translate the business needs to Functional detailed document to ensure that all Business requirements are properly logged and analysed
Design, develop, configure, and customize solutions on Oracle JD Edwards to fulfil business requirements and assure their business suitability with the functional analysis
End-to-end Functional cycle testing, UAT.
Prepare technical and functional documentation
Provide training to key-business users including training manual.
Promote Oracle JD Edwards HCM best practices to the business
Lead customer meetings and work with the customer’s project team to drive out requirements and design sustainable solutions
Lead the customer through testing the solutions built
Ensure that the project is run in line with Tabreed’s project management framework, and using Tabreed templates
Author a range of documentation, which includes internal documentation for technical and non-technical teams, and business-facing documents

We are looking for an experienced JDE HCM consultant, with both functional and technical expertise in HCM modules. The candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of JDE HCM techno-functional experience, sound knowledge of all JDE HCM modules, and at least two full life cycle JDE implementation experience. The candidate should have extensive experience in business process mapping, design, development, upgrade/enhancement, testing, implementation, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Experience presenting and authoring on technical subjects to both technical and non-technical audiences, at all levels of an organization
Customer facing experience, including experience dealing with large customer organizations
Able to lead several parallel assignments
Excellent technical problem-solving skills
Full lifecycle project experience
Experience eliciting requirements
Ability to take a proactive approach to business engagements
Expertise in HR business processes
Preferred: Certified Oracle JD Edwards HCM / HRMS
Preferred: Exposure to UAE labour law
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Computer Science or equivalent
Sound knowledge on JDE HCM modules (Recruitment, Workforce Planning, Performance & Rewards, Learning & Emiratization, Employee Relations & Administration) and reporting
Preferred: Familiarity with Insight Software and or Cognos BI
Personality & Attributes:
Confident communicator with excellent organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, and able to challenge requirements and promote best practices
Strong formal presentation skills
Ability to travel to Abu Dhabi for 3 months
