Job Description and Requirements -Full knowledge and expertise in electrical systems design, calculations, life cycle cost analysis, drawing production and report writing. -The candidate must be detailed oriented and well organized with effective communication skills both verbal and written. -The candidate is expected to regularly attend Client meetings and give presentations on their area of expertise. -The candidate should have familiarity with the latest versions of AutoCAD and Electrical Design Software, including Revit MEP. -The candidate must be able to work well independently and with teams of designers and engineers to deliver an engineering design that is clear and concise. Title: Senior Electrical Engineer (Buildings) Qualifications: Qualifications and Experience -Electrical Engineering Degree from a nationally accredited engineering program. More than 10 years of experience working within a Building Services Design Group with an emphasis in Power distribution and Lighting Design. -Electrical Engineering Degree from a nationally accredited engineering program. -Working knowledge of Revit/AutoCAD, and MS Office programs is required. -Demonstrated Proficiency with International Building Codes and Standards, including the United States National Electrical Codes, British Standards, and Health Technical Memorandum (HTM)Standards. -Experience in lighting, power distribution, lightning protection, telecommunications, fire alarm and other typical building electrical systems design. -Strong written and verbal communication skills, including a high proficiency in English is required. -Demonstrated proficiency in specification writing in CSI Master Format. -Understanding of multidisciplinary coordination through design and the construction process.
