Brief Posting Description
Designated Completion Design Specialist is a technical authority for well completion; main role consists on reviews, evaluates and provides highly technical advisory role on well completion selection design, configuration, equipment and deployment, ensuring are made fit-for-purpose. As Smart Completion Leader; must exercise active role also on Well Integrity and Quality, being fully abreast of latest completion technologies trends released by international industry such as smart completion such as ICV’s & ICD’s & DTS & PDHG’s, Down hole gauges, multilateral system, etc.
Detailed Description
The nature of responsibilities requires expert knowledge in completion engineering and completion operations
Proven ability to perform critical completion well analysis compiling findings and recommendations in professional reports
Ensure well completion is objective driven, safe,trouble-free and economical for the whole well life.
Lead the development and maintenance of Completion policies and procedures.
Benchmarks ADCO completion performance versus other organizations mainly in GCC countries.
Stays appraised of latest completion industry trends released along with any new technology associated.
Exercises autonomy in conducting major and strategic Completion Studies toward to optimize the field development plan.
Minimum Qualification
B.Sc. degree in petro-technical discipline, advanced degree is preferable.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
15 years’ proven experience in Drilling and Completion Engineering (design, analysis and optimization and R&D;), along 5 years of completions and work over operations, with demonstrated experience in report writing with solid presentations skills.
International Experience is desirable.
Track record in maturing and applying new technologies and participation in R& D projects.
