The Scrum Master is known as guardian of Scrum Team someone that resolves impediment and have control over the scrum processes.
Key activities to accomplish this include:
● Facilitate the team for better creativity and improve the efficiency of the development team.
● Responsible for managing the scrum process with the coordination of scrum team in Agile methodology.
● Remove the impediments for the scrum team.
● Arranged daily scrum meetings, facilitate meetings, schedule meetings, demo and decision-making processes in order to ensure quick inspection and proper use of adaptation process.
● Helps Journey Owner to keep the product backlogs in good shape in Jira and prioritize them for the next sprint.
● Guiding the team in estimating the team’s work.
● Responsible to conduct retrospective meetings and lead the team’s improvement efforts
● Organizes and facilitates the sprint planning meeting.
● Coordinating with other Agile teams, such as participation in the Scrum of Scrums meeting.
● Acts as safeguard for their teams
المهارات
● Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban etc.
● Good skills to coach team in effective use of Scrum rules, practices and events: Daily Scrum, Backlog Review, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo and Retrospective.
● Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.
● Basic knowledge of software development and integration mechanisms like microservices, ESB and dev-ops.
● Knowledge about Agile techniques like: User Stories, Continuous Integration, Pairing, Automated Testing.
● Experience coaching teams ability to resolve conflict with a continual focus on the Scrum values of openness, honesty, commitment, courage, and respect.
● Adept at identifying and removing impediments slowing the Development team down, as well as shielding the team from external interruptions and distractions.
● Experience assessing squad Agile maturity and coaching teams toward constant self-evaluation and improvement at a sustainable pace.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills – Scrum Master will need to work with Product Owners and stakeholders to help manage backlog and deliver products that add business value.
● Experience working with modern project planning and collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence
