Printing Press & Warehouse Area Continuous Improvement Engineer
Salary: up to AED 13,000 based on experience
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Our Client is a leader in the production of paperboard packaging for products including milk, juices, cheese, tomato paste, etc., using state of the art technology and materials. Supplying companies (FMCG) across Middle East and North Africa. As a result of their expansion we are seeking an Engineer with experience in the food industry ensuring process and maintenance measures. The Key role, reporting to the Maintenance / Project Manager, you will be responsible person for the part of technological equipment in order to improve OEE on a dedicated area by implementing preventative, predictive (CBM & TBM), corrective activities, equipment development. Should implement all reactive and proactive maintenance activities according to maintenance policy, plans and schedules. At dedicated area responsible for cutting out waste, whilst ensuring quality. Responsibilities • Accountable for technical problem identification, developing and implementing solutions to provide consistent, reliable, technically proper condition of dedicated technological equipment;
• Responsible for developing and timely implementation of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance plans;
• Executes equipment PLC upgrades and improvements at responsible area;
• Performs in-depth analysis of all breakdowns (especially electronic toot cause break-downs) and other technical problems at dedicated area with further countermeasures developing and timely implementation;
• Takes part at equipment repair;
• Creates technical procedures, manuals, SOP’s and OPL’s to develop knowledge of maintenance and production staff;
• Creates schemes, drawings and other technical documents for parts and components manufacturing;
• Takes care about technical documentation at responsible area
• Responsible for TAG and Work Order timely execution at responsible area;
• Cares for essential tools, devices and consumables to repair and maintain technological equipment;
• Takes an active participation at implementation of investment and non-investment projects;
• Makes proposals for technological equipment upgrades and improvements;
المهارات
Requirement • Higher education or Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering;
• Minimum of 3 years engineering experience at manufacturing field;
• English intermediate level
• Good knowledge in general production process equipment, familiar with electronic theory and PLC knowledge
• Practical Confident use of PLC
• Multi-skilled with formal engineering qualification in hydraulic and pneumatic subjects
• Computer Literacy: Mid-Level (Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point proficiency). Knowledge of AutoCAD
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency and should be proactive in driving through continuous improvement initiatives
• Extensive experience in carrying out and analyzing breakdowns
• Experience of working within the food industry is preferable
• Experience in printing industry would be an advantage
• Experience in leading or participation in Improvement Teams is an advantage.
