Key Responsibilities
1. Developing and implementing human resources policies
2. Strategic directives – Organizational culture, company vision, mission, policies and procedures, benefit and reward, performance management and employee relations, hiring staff, negotiating employment agreements and labor law/best practice
3. Resolve complex employee relations issues and conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
4. Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and legislation related to day-to-day management of employees and employee relations issues, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance, advises and coaches managers on this when required
5. Ensure that legal policies are implemented within the region
6. Lead performance, conduct and disciplinary meetings
7. Ensure that line managers conduct regular and timely performance appraisals for their direct reports in accordance with company policy
8. Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
9. Performance management implementation Motivating and supporting current staff
10. Job mapping, job grading, manpower planning, forecast and budgeting
11. Handling employee compensation and benefits
12. Employee relations, employee retaining programs & exit interviews.
13. Automation of HR Services & HRMMS implementation
14. Designing and directing training programs
المهارات
· Ideally HR Degree (Western Educated), CIPD or SHRM preferred
· Minimum 15 years of experience relevant experience
· Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
· A strong focus on performance and results with the ability to work in a demanding matrix environment
· Ability to facilitate a wide range of HR issues, acting as a center of expertise in HR practice
· Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc.)
· Hands on experience with various selection processes (interviewing, reference check etc.)
· Ability to organize skills assessment centers (in tray activities, work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests, etc.)
· Establish HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
· UAE experience and resident in Abu Dhabi
