-Planning and organizing production schedules with the help from Production planner
-Assessing projects and resource requirements
-Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with tendering team for new projects
-Ensuring that health and safety regulations are strictly complied all times
-Determining quality control standards
-Control and monitoring production processes
-Production manager ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently
-Implementation of lean manufacturing techniques like 5S, SMED, Value Stream Mapping, -Takt Time, poka Yoke etc.,
PM should lead the Continuous improvement initiatives and be instrumental in implementing Six Sigma
-Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
-Selecting, ordering fabrication materials and consumables via Supply Chain team
-Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
المهارات
-He/she should be an engineering graduate
-Must have at least 10 to 15 years of Oil & Gas services experience in which at least 5 to 7 years worked in manufacturing of wireline, well testing /service equipment
-Must have people management experience especially management of shop floor personnel
-Good knowledge in Hydraulics, Engines & other rotating equipment
-Must be a team player and have experience in all business processes
