Job Description and Requirements
We are looking to hire an experienced Senior Legal Advisor/Head of Legal who can reform and implement new systems and processes with the aim to establish an efficient and effective group legal department. As well as dealing with all day to day legal matters, this candidate should be an ambitious and competent senior advisor who can advise the board and business units on their current portfolio, upcoming projects as well as their future strategic growth plans. The group have interests across the following sectors: Oil & Gas, hospitality, investments, transportation, healthcare, HSE, professional services, manufacturing, general trading, and industrial services
This is a very interesting role for someone who is looking to work across a range of diverse sectors at group level, acting as a trusted advisor to Senior Management and board members as well as someone who has hands-on experience of structuring and managing a small legal team and all its activities
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Qualified Lawyer/Admitted to Home or Other Law Society/Bar (Essential)
Fluent Arabic/English Language skills
Minimum 10 years experience working in the areas of Corporate/Commercial law
Must have UAE work experience and have previous experience of heading/leading a legal dept
