1. Fills customer orders according to oral or written request: records sale or rings up sale on cash register, ensuring its accuracy; balances cash at close of business; counts, sorts and checks sales slips. 2. Answers customers queries on types and prices of products, suitability of each type for various uses or occasions. 3. Receives stock at liquor store by managing the unloading trucks, unpacks and checks for breakage and quantity, records incoming and outgoing stock, arranges stock in the Stock room, prices the products, replenishes store shelves and floor fixtures as needed; cleans and prices bottles; and participates in taking physical inventories by counting all stock or checking off previous counts. 4. Assists in maintaining store security by patrolling floor when off cash, and ensuring all products leaving the store have been paid for. 5. Ensure excellence in customer service through improved product knowledge, customer service training and efficient and timely performance of duties. 6. Ensures that no sale is made to persons prohibited by law to purchase alcohol beverages such as, those under the legal drinking age and very intoxicated persons. 7. Ensure social responsibility of store by refusing to sell alcohol to minors, those under the influence, or any others 8. Ensure levels of stock are maintained through the careful receiving and stocking of all inventories. 9. Accept responsibility and report the health and safety for themselves and co-workers. 10. Demonstrate a visible commitment to the prevention of workplace injuries, illnesses and incidents. 11. Take reasonable care to protect the health and safety of himself and other employees present at the workplace, and cooperate for the purpose of protecting the health and safety of himself/herself and other employees in the workplace. 12.
