Main Responsibilities:
- Supervising the works of the technical team for the design development,engineering calculations and performance specifications of facade systems.
- Understanding the technical requirements of each project and effectively using the techniques of design and engineering as well as “value engineering”.
- Ensuring that the teams have all the tools to work in an efficient cost-effective manner
- Managing the technical resources within project budget and schedule.
- Liasing with other related parties on the job; Architect, Façade Consultant, Engineer, PM, Main Contractor, etc.
- Reviewing the structural and thermal calculations.
- Formulating technical/engineering reports, performance specifications, and testing regimes for conventional and bespoke facade and building envelope systems.
- Advice on material selection, manufacturability, and procurement.
- Carry out out factory and site works inspections and formulate related progress reports.
- Assisting in clients’ presentations and in formulating bid proposals.
Requirements
- 10 – 12 years’ experience in facade engineering and steel structure
- BSc/MSc in Structural / Mechanical / Civil Engineering Degree.
- Working experience with a reputed facade consultant or facade contractor is a plus
- Experience in the Middle East/Gulf market is highly desirable.
- Experience in bespoke facade systems and geometrically complex buildings and structures is necessary.
- Good knowledge of facade engineering related building codes, standards, and good practice. BS and ASTM as priority.

المهارات
Skills:
- Command in English, written and spoken.
- ROBOT/STAAD/ANSYS, Hilti Anchor Designer, etc.
- Knowledge of thermal analysis software would be highly advantageous.
- AutoCad 2D, 3D latest versions. 3D parametric software like Rhino-Grasshopper, Revit, Inventor and other similar parametric software would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent team and project management skills to drive his team and projects
