Description
Working with the IT Manager and the Technical Operations Director to develop medium and long-term strategic plans in line with the organisations vision, mission and strategic goals.Contributes to establish goals, methods, policies and procedures for implementing programmes in alignment with the strategic vision, mission and goals.Prepares scope and business cases for more ambiguous or complex projects including cost and resource impactsImplement effective stakeholder engagement and communications strategy for all stages of projectsMonitor the completion of projects and implement effective and rigorous project evaluation methodologies to inform future planningPlans the installation and testing of new versions of system softwareInvestigates and coordinates the resolution of potential and actual service problemsEnsures that operational documentation for system software is fit for purpose and currentDevelops implementation plans for dealing with more complex requests for changeSuggests improvement to organisational procedures governing change managementLeads the assessment, analysis, development, documentation and implementation of changes based on requests for changeApply legal, policy and organisational guidelines and procedures in relation to procurement and contract managementDevelop well written, well-structured procurement documentation that clearly sets out the business requirementsMonitor procurement and contract management processes to ensure they are open, transparent and competitive, and that contract performance is effective
Profile
THIS ROLE IS ONLY OPEN TO UAE NATIONALS
Bachelors or preferably Masters degree in IT or Computer SciencePMP CertifiedITIL V3 CertifiedMinimum of 5 years experience managing Business ApplicationsMinimum of 2 years managing an IT team
