Highway Design Engineer– Abu Dhabi, UAE
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Does full highway and road geometric design, road signing and pavement making design, and way finding signs.
Does roads 3D modeling using road design software.
Does other front-end layout and design, computation and analysis of complex systems and equipment as applicable to the respective discipline.
Provides for compliance with items such as specifications, tolerances, safety factors and requirements of client.
Performs interdisciplinary reviews and provides coordinating data to ensure a compatible design.
Understands and applies company commonly used design standards and methods.
Coordinates with CADD Operators, Senior Engineers and other staff to ensure quality of design.
Completes additional duties as assigned.
المهارات
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Civil Engineering.
3 to 7 years of relevant experience in designing large scale roads/highway projects.
Proficient in utilizing Autocad, Microstation, MX Road Design and Civil 3D.
Preferably with relevant experience in UAE in an engineering consulting firm.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
