The Organization:
Our client is a rehabilitation and long-term care provider, with facilities in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Al Ain. They provide multidisciplinary and intensive rehabilitation for individuals suffering from neurological problems in subacute, post-acute and long-term care settings.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Completes patient assessments to identify patients for potential admission and determines if the patient meets criteria for admissions;
• Responsible for managing the referrals and admissions generated through their assigned hospitals and territories by representing the hospital with professionalism to referral sources;
• In conjunction with the department director, designs and manages the marketing strategies for their assigned territory;
• Conduct face-to-face contacts with potential referral sources and maintains positive relationships with current and potential referral sources;
• Utilizes educational opportunities to present the hospital to referring professionals, payers, and government and private healthcare agencies;
• Consistently identifies new referral opportunities and manages potential client base.
• Coordinates transmission of clinical information and benefits of treatment to patients, families and referral sources;
• Performs 80% or more of work outside the hospital;
• To be reference for the rest of clinical liaison in term of knowledge and skills;

• Able to present clinical overview of patient’s medical condition and needs;

• Able to manage difficult situations;
• Uses own initiative and is able to make decisions;
Education & Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in from an accredited college or technical school;
• Proven 2 years minimum clinical experience plus 2 years’ experience including direct patient care within an acute care environment;
• Proven experienced in providing patient/family education;
• HAAD license/eligibility is an added advantage but not a must;
