• Assist individuals who have disabilities and chronic illnesses; the disability may be congenital or acquired.
• Work alongside neuropsychological specialists and collaborate with other health and medical professionals ABA, SLP and OT therapist.
• Treat children with conditions ranging from spina bifida to traumatic brain injury, Autism or any developmental delays.
• Provide comprehensive evaluations, assessments may be neurological (testing memory and other cognitive functions) or psychological (assessing emotional handling of disability-related issues).
• Conduct individual and family therapy, write educational prescriptions, and carry out neuro-rehabilitative interventions as needed.
• work at the societal level to make the lives of the disabled better.
• Carry out research and may be involved in program development and administration.
• Provide vocational rehabilitation strategies to improve lives for individuals with psychiatric illnesses as well as physical ones.
• Supervise team.
• Prepare for assessments and ensure that assessments are carried out in a fair manner
• Manage crises situations by employing diplomacy
• Ensure the safety and comfort of each patient at all times
• Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
• Maintains patient confidence and protects centers operations by keeping information confidential.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with HR procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Develops occupational therapy staff by providing information; developing and conducting in-service training programs.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Required:
• MSc, M. Phil in Clinical or Rehabilitation psychology
• Minimum 5 years of experience in field
• HAAD or DHA License
• Experience with Microsoft Suite
• Capable of performing essential job functions
Preferred:
• Experience with pediatric, autistic and developmentally disabled clients.
• Arabic Speaking
