The Organization:
Our client is an investment company that works on agricultural regional and international projects. Although their operations are worldwide, their head office is in Abu Dhabi. They are currently expanding and professionalizing their HR Department. For the development of HR policies and strategies, they are hiring an experienced HR Planning and Development Officer
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Providing leadership in the development and enhancing of skills, competencies and performance of the employees to enhance the efficiency and productivity of all personnel. This includes advisory reports to senior management about manpower planning, recruitment, training, knowledge management, career development and succession planning initiatives;
• Policy formulation for a wide span of human resources related issues including, job evaluation, compensation and benefits, performance management, recruitment, and gender/diversity strategies and career and staff development;
• Identifying and exploring “best practices” in areas such as recruitment, career and staff development, talent management, mobility, performance management, gender and diversity; works towards achieving stakeholder acceptance and agrees strategies for enhancement of human resources management.

Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge and understanding of general HR Strategy and Policies in regards to job evaluation (Hay’s), job analysis, compensation & benefits, performance management and more.
• Outstanding English communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to train staff and make presentations
• Experience in working in a cross-cultural environment
• Ability to work effectively in a team but is also able to work independently
• Ability to handle multitasks
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
Education & Qualifications:
• Master Degree, related to Human Resources
• At least 8 years’ experience within HR Strategy & Policy role
