BIM Coordinator – Infrastructure
JOB OVERVIEW:
The BIM Coordinator will support the BIM Manager in the day to day development, establishment and implementation of BIM in Parsons’ Abu Dhabi office and prestigious project(s).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the BIM Manager in project/sector BIM execution.
Support the setup, development, configuration, establishment of the Common Data Environment (CDE) for project use.
Ensure Project Information Models (PIM’s) are delivered in accordance with the agreed TIDP, MIDP and CDE protocol.
Develop, update and maintain QA/QC check templates.
Measure and ensure the highest quality for all BIM package submissions in accordance with project standards and requirements.
Review BIM models from Contractors and other stakeholders.
Record, store and maintain all formal correspondences related to BIM activities.
Perform QA/QC checks and maintain QA/QC check tracker.
Review, monitor and report on the development of clash interference and fully coordinated models .
Conduct clash detection and visual walk-throughs.
Prepare own discipline model and/or content for internal reviews and coordination meetings.
Validate and export model geometry and data to schedules for internal design and commercial activities.
Monitor and support the data collection process and validate Asset Information. Models (AIM’s) and Client Specific requirements.
Complete additional duties as assigned.
المهارات
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
At least 5 years’ experience in design or construction.
At least 3 years’ experience supporting BIM projects.
Preferably with experience working in a Consultant environment, or Contractor.
Knowledgeable of British Standards BS/PAS Series / British BIM Standards PAS1192 and BS1192.
Proficient in a range of BIM authoring and proprietary software applications such as: Revit, Civil 3D, Inventor, Dynamo, Navisworks, Infraworks 360 or similar applications.
Has experience in Project Information Model delivery, Common Data Environment, Quality Assurance compliance and validation, clash clearance detection, quantity take off and scheduling.
