- Reviews technical
drawings and prepares the quantity needs
- Estimates quantity and
cost of materials
- Prepares contracts and
other related documents
- Conducts on-going cost
analysis for maintenance and additional building materials
- Negotiates with
contractors and subcontractors regarding prices and later prepares payments
after completion of the work
- Reports any potential
financial or construction risk in the process
- Acts as a liaison
between clients and site managers and engineers
- Tracks changes in the
construction plan and updates the budget
- Develops healthy
business relations among contractors and subcontractors for future works
- Visits sites regularly
to assess and project future works
المهارات
- A degree holder is
quantity surveying, construction engineering or of any related studies
- Strong organizational
and communication skills
- 5-10 years of general
construction estimating experience, financial experience, construction
experience, or related field
- Proficient in computer
skills and MS Office applications
- Strong aptitude for numbers,
spreadsheets, and financial reports
- Very knowledgeable of
construction materials pricing
