Our client, a global cards and payments firm is seeking a Technical Project Management Officer (PMO) for the deployment of a Personal Finance Management (PFM) software with one of its banking clients in Cairo, Egypt. This is a 12-month extendable assignment that requires a candidate with fluent proficiency in both Arabic and English, both written and spoken. The eligible candidates should have at least 7+ years of experience. This is a key project for the end client bank and the Global payments firm as they embark on the journey to implement a state-of-the-art Personal finance management solution.

Responsibilities

- Assist the client business team in prioritizing PFM use cases using deep technical knowledge of product features and client technical capabilities.
- Provide on-ground support to resolve specific technical challenges relating to integration to the payment firm’s assets and/or its technology partners.
- Facilitate use case deployment according to set timelines in collaboration with third parties, if applicable.
- Actively and efficiently liaison with the payment firm’s product and account management functions for feedback.

Qualifications/Expectations

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar technical degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- Software project management experience.
- 7+ years of experience in IT/application development related operations.
- Experience in a payments/banking environment is preferred.
- Experience in communicating and interacting with senior stakeholders in the bank for periodic updates.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

The term of engagement for this role is 12 months. Located in Cairo, Egypt. Given the project’s significance, there’s a high likelihood of further collaboration after the contract’s completion, based on performance and project outcomes.
