Job Purpose:
We are seeking a bi-lingual (Arabic & English) Sales Professional for our K-12 markets in the Middle East, North Africa and the Levant. The responsibilities will include developing relationships with school librarians, teachers, heads of departments, academic/curriculum coordinators, ICT managers, principals, etc. regarding online educational programs and digital library services. Education sales experience, within the E-Publishing industry is a plus, but not a requirement. This position requires travel and a driven desire to succeed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
As part of the TechKnowledge sales team, you’ll have the opportunity to change the face of education. As a K-12 Sales Professional, you will have ownership of the entire customer life-cycle (from lead to customer to renewal), influence the company’s priorities, and pursue new go-to-market initiatives. Primary duties include:
• Exceeding monthly sales targets;
• Accurate forecasting and pipeline management;
• Establishing yourself as an authority on K-12 solutions.
Skills & Qualifications
• Operating at a University degree level;
• An understanding of the Education sector would be desirable (background in teaching would be highly preferable);
• Experience gained within a digital/online products environment;
• Bilingual: Fluency in English and Arabic are essential. French would be an advantage;
• An unrelenting work ethic (we believe success in sales is mostly about hard work);
• Excellent teaming abilities (you’ll be collaborating with company executives, sales operations, marketing, support, product and external partners on a regular basis);
• Excellent computing skills (proficiency with MS Office Suite; particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Experience with CRM systems are desirable;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Excellent presentation skills;
• Excellent training & coaching skills;
• History of regularly beating quota and being a top performer on a successful sales team;
• Experience using a CRM system (ie Salesforce).
