Job Responsibilities:
• Drafting and reviewing agreements, contracts and MOU’s in English or Arabic, including joint venture, franchise and commercial contracts, partnerships, financing, transfers of debts, settlements and labor
• Conducting in depth legal research relative to various subject matter to ensure the full application of the rule of law on the claim
• Preparing legal memos and statements of claims being presented to the courts or arbitration panels.
• Attending arbitration sessions and performing pleadings in Arabic and English.
• Plays a managerial role where he oversees the junior lawyers’ legal representation of the business on all corporate matters. also takes a leading role, alongside the Head of Legal, in determining the legal direction and strategy of the business.
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
Required Experience & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree of law – English
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in legal positions
