Java/Senior Java Developers required for Software Company. Incumbent be proficient in Core Java, J2EE, servlets, Struts and any database experience. Linux experience will be an advantage.
Responsibilities :
The position involves design, development, debugging of application software. The incumbent should also be a team player ready to handle the work pressure.
Essential Skills :
Minimum 2 years experience in Java technologies Proficient in Core Java, J2EE (Servlets, JSP, EJB 2.0) XML, HTML, wml and XHTML.
Exposure to Software Engineering processes Design patterns& MVC Architecture. Experience in using UML Design Tools.
Experience in working in IDEs like Eclipse, Netbeans, Jbuilder Experience in Java Web development Proficient in at least one Open Source/ Commercial Web Server like Tomcat, JBoss, Weblogic or Websphere.
Strong database skills especially using MS SQL Server 7.0 and MySql Good programming/debug/troubleshooting skills to code highly efficient programs.
Good working knowledge of Linux. Candidates with hands on exp. in configuring web/application server on Linux/Windows will be preferred.
Additional Skills :
Ability to work independently with strong problem solving skills. Should have excellent communication and presentation skills, a positive attitude, and ability to work effectively in teams.
Knowledge of Struts, AJAX, SOAP, JAVA Mail & JTA.
