As a Data Specialist, you will be part of the Data team and participate on an execution team by performing complex SQL queries and large data extraction and manipulation tasks using only Microsoft SQL Server only. Also, as marketing campaigns complete, you will aid in the delivery of standard reporting metrics to customers. You will report to Data team lead. The ability to communicate effectively in English is a requirement of this position. - Working on data manipulation and extraction using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 2012. - Working with strong and complex queries as well as with stored procedures. - Creates and runs daily, weekly and monthly data jobs that populate data repositories while ensuring accuracy and consistency. - Analyzes business requirements and makes recommendations to maximize efficiency, quality and compliance on the data work. - Works to analyze and solve complex operational, systems-related and/or customer issue - Creating local databases, views, table and workflows in order to standardize and industrialize the data cleansing process (Removal of malformed physical addresses, email addresses, or phone numbers) - Handling mainly PII data (Personal Identifiable Information) like name, company name, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, job titles, etc. requires to adhere to privacy rules. - Responsible for timely execution of marketing activities as defined by SLAs (Service Level Agreements). - Attendance, completion, and participation in new tool deployments, updates, and trainings as required. - An estimated 80-90% of daily works hours should be spent on campaign execution, deployment, and/or reporting on average. Skills - 2-3 year experience of data cleansing, manipulation and extraction and or preparation is required. - English language skills required; further language skills a plus. - Solid skills in Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and 2012 (is a MUST) and in Microsoft Transact SQL. - Ability to multitask and work under pressure. - Thinking analytically to be able to gather/analyze information from multiple data sources and design and test the technical solution - Ability to balance and prioritize responsibilities to ensure all deadlines are met. - Ability to compile research and perform in-depth analysis on critical operational data. - Demonstrated aptitude to independently provide summary and recommendations on operational data. - Proficiency with Microsoft’s suite of Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. - Experience with sales analysis and reports using database technical tools (SSIS, OLAP) is a plus - Basic understanding of the direct marketing project process flow and execution a plus. - Good organization skills, acute attention to detail, consistent follow through. - Ability to work in a team Education - BS/BA required - Official Microsoft certification (MCP, MCTS or MCITP) in SQL Server database and BI developments a huge plus |
