Scope of work & purpose:
The grant writing consultant will conduct a grant/proposal-writing workshop for a total of 15 participants (10 of EFPAs’ head quarters staff & 5 branches executive directors); along with establishing a proposal & concept note templates for the association. The services to be provided, aims to strengthen the associations’ capacity for successfully acquiring resources for ensuring sustainability as well as providing more SRHR products and services for poor and vulnerable people.

Place and duration: EFPA head quarters (Nasr City) – Two days.

Key competences, technical background, and experience required:
Qualifications:
This consultancy requires an individual with strong self-initiative, proven grant writing and fundraising experience in the field of international development. Experience in fundraising for SRHR, public health and sustainability in urban areas is an advantage, as is prior work experience for the United Nations.
Master’s degree in international development, marketing, business administration, or a writing-related field preferred;
At least 5 years relevant experience working on successful fundraising proposals is required, either for a company, non-profit organization or on a freelance basis;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Fluency in English.
