VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for IBM WebSphere Portal Developers for our Bahrain operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Skill set required:
• 4- 6 years in java/j2ee application design and development with minimum 3 years experience in IBM Web sphere Portal 8 or above
• At least 3 years hands on development experience in JSR 168 & 286 and understanding of JSR specs.
• Strong knowledge of Web Sphere Portal architecture.
• Must have experience in Web Sphere Portal 7/8, Web Sphere Content Management development and customization, JSR168 & 286 specification , EJB , WSRP, Web services, MVC, Hibernate, SOAP, RDBMS,RAD
• External application integration/ enablement through portal framework.
• Must have experience in jQuery/ Dojo/Ajax,HTML5,CSS3,XML/JSON
• Experience in Webseal,TIM,TAM,DB2, LDAP,MQ is a plus
• Experience in developing applications with responsive design is required
• Experience in working with IBM process manager& message broker
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
Required Qualifications
Minimum Graduation with computer specialization
Relevant Certification s will add value
Roles and Responsibility
• Analyze project and design specifications to develop Java software applications.
• Prepare technical documentations at both program level and user level.
• Follow coding standards defined by Company.
• Assist in coding, debugging, testing, and documenting of application programs.
• Participate in development and maintenance of applications.
• Assist in developing architectural design and functional specifications.
• Support Technical Support Desk in troubleshooting and fixing bugs and other programmatic issues.
• Review, encode and test change management requests for Java application.
• Develop flow charts and block diagrams to show programming workflow.

Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 4 weeks)
