Job Summary
Our Client, the organization behind one of the biggest urban development projects in Bahrain, is looking to hire a Real Estate Development Manager.
The Real Estate Development Manager is responsible for the planning, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects. The DM will be required to coordinating all contractual requirements, design drawings, and project specifications.
Main Responsibilities
Source and negotiate with potential project partners:
Operators, property managers, specialist advisors, investment partners, and the like as required to deliver the project.
Lead the RFP process for development transactions:
Developing the scope of work, selection of external consultants, valuers, market research consultants, legal advisors, tax advisors etc., and prepare the consolidated report on the findings with recommendation for internal approval.
Develop and refine the project brief to enhance project returns and achieve critical success factors; and manage the design process to achieve the brief.
Monitor day-to- day relationships with partners for ongoing developments, and establish metrics to analyze and track performance of partners.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be qualified with a degree in related to Architecture or Civil Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of experience in construction and management or equivalent as well as professional certified as a Chartered Engineer or Real Estate RICS.
Candidates with financial modelling and PM experience will be given priority. Specialisation in hotel or apartment development is a plus. Knowledge of Arabic would be a bonus.
