Job Purpose
Provides professional support for the day-to-day operation of computer systems and networks throughout responsible the company’s facility, ensuring reliable performance of the endpoints and network.
Principal Accountabilities
Responding to support requests assigned from the helpdesk system regarding hardware, software, and networking
Contact users to find out the nature of the problem and rectifying the issue via local or remote access per the nature of the task.
Support for Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.) and associated cabling.
Prepare device for new employee and support in onboarding new users and create the account and email ID.
Support for Installing and upgrading operating systems, computer software and end-user applications (Office 365, VPN)
Troubleshooting networking issues on LAN, network access, mails, internet, etc. (hard disk repair/breakdown, RAM installation, laptop LED replacement)
Guiding IT-related processes and procedures to the END users and help to generate service requests.
Liaising with the third-party service provider for timely repair of the system under the maintenance agreement warranty and repairing minor flaws in hardware if not covered under the same
Work with site-level BU stakeholders for change management process, document any changes introduced to the environment, including steps to resolution.
Assist the company project team w.r.t site surveys, information gathering and prepare High-Level site survey drawings and inputs.
Work with the site OT team and provide support for managing the IT-OT integration infrastructure, including the management of OT DMZ servers, Firewall, and network switches.

Requirements
Education
Degree: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
Having related professional Industry certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, Network+, ITIL, etc.
Cybersecurity certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience
3+ years of IT experience with a focus on end user support management
Strong knowledge and experience in end user support frameworks
Strong knowledge and experience in managing 24*7 support team and shifts
Strong problem solving and priorities skills
Cybersecurity knowledge in IT and OT network will be added advantage.
Experience of working within a Plant environment and Oil and Gas domain is preferred.
Well versed with the HSE policies and procedures, PTW systems followed in a plant environment.
Solid understanding of technical application support and application security concept and requirements
Working knowledge of windows AD, DNS, HTTP/s, SSH, LDAP, DHCP, etc.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, Lan & WAN, Firewall, networking protocols and security concepts.
