Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Coordinates corrective maintenance projects including developing timelines to work on projects which have the highest priority to the Mechanical division and the plant and will maximize the availability of the plant equipment
• Provides problem solving and root cause analysis, component design, preparation of contract documents and scopes of work, planning, co-ordinating, and scheduling work required, supervision of contractors, ordering materials to ensure project efficiency and success
• Develops and monitors condition-based Mechanical maintenance programs including equipment troubleshooting … etc.
• Trains Mechanical maintenance personnel on use of condition-based maintenance procedures, techniques and technologies
• Conducts planning for periodic & preventive maintenance operations, human resources planning, and equipments & spare parts in coordination with Head Mechanical / Chief Engineer and production manager
• Planning the process of dealing with sudden breakdowns for the required maintenance operations,planning the desired stock of spare parts and other needs in cooperation with maintenance manager and share it with procurement and contracts Dept.
• Executes mechanical maintenance operations
• Conducts analysis of consumption of machineries and the use of spare parts to help in modify plans for requests for spare parts and other needs
• Analysis of sudden breakdowns and identify the main causes of these breakdowns and their gravity, and in case of recurrence of such failures to work on proposing a radical solution for it
• Conducts scost benefit analysis for the assets within maintenance, and specify if maintenance cost is higher than economically value for such assets
• Develops and measure various performance indicators relating to the proper functioning of equipments, and monitor of the effectiveness of usage of these equipments
• Prepares periodic reports on mechanical maintenance operations, and anlaysing reports related shutdowns & performance
• Permanent disclosure for security and safety for maintenance equipments.
• Ensures the security and safety procedures are applied by all employees in the mechanical maintenance section
• Prepares mechanical maintenance reports and submit them to Head Mechanical
• Any other tasks that do not contradict with the above
