الوصف الوظيفي Ensure that correct methods are used in the teaching and learning process and the theoretical and practical exercises are conducted according to the courses offered in the department. Act on behalf of Head of Department and prepare department budget, annual needs plans, and manpower, equipment and supplies requirements. Act as an expert or adviser on issues related to education and training. Assist in the preparation of policies and management responsibilities and propose specific amendments to decisions and develop proposals that will increase efficiency and productivity. Monitor adherence to policies, academic bylaws and decisions and their implications. Ensure safety levels are met in classrooms, laboratories and workshops. Keep up to date with and understand changes and developments in the field and their implications on education and training programs at the college. Coordinate within the rest of the faculty, college administration and Heads of Departments to achieve the goals of the college. Prepare studies and performance reports and educate specialists about courses and analyze faculty performance and execution of curriculum. Evaluate faculty performance and recommend hiring new faculty and staff. Participate in meetings of the College Advisory Committee when requested. Carry out other job related tasks.
