Position Overview:
Provides the needed specialist insight into the project acceptance inclusive of coordinating with end users and other stakeholders to close projects and oversee warranties of accepted projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategy Formulation - Implementation of Department policies, goals, objectives, and procedures and support in their development as needed
Assist in development and implementation of business plans while ensuring to work within defined budget parameters.
Budgeting and Control - Assists and development and implementation of business plans while ensuring to work within defined budget parameters
Operational Tasks include but not limited to reviewing documentation provided by contractors during the project acceptance stages and coordinates with various departments in order to deliver documents to concerned parties for review and evaluation. Collects feedback and issues reports accordingly.
Provides the needed specialist insight during the implementation of new operations plans, policies, procedures, and transition/migration plans while ensuring they are consistent with the overall goals and objectives or Client.
Conducts post implementation reviews on completed projects, assesses projects success, and details a project closure report indicating lessons learned and items of concern.
Review project construction and purchasing plans and contracts during the project acceptance stages, documents risks (if any) and advises management of circumstances in which conflicts of interest exist.
Undertakes or assists in special projects as needed.
Provides specialist insight and coordinates in tasks related to projects acceptance including evaluation of bids and proposals and participating in negotiations with contractors
Provides specialist insight and coordinates in tasks related to assessing projects delivered by contractors and reporting notes about uncompleted tasks stated in the contracts
Provides specialist insight and coordinates in tasks related to reviewing changes made by contractors in line with observations made, and provides recommendations to improve performance
Assists in procedures followed for project’s closure once the verification of contractor duties has been completed
Coordinates in the process of evaluation of contractors after completion of projects and reporting recorded notes to superiors
People Management
When applicable, ensures subordinates and superiors are always well informed
When applicable, manages the development of Subordinates
Related Assignments
Performs other related duties as assigned or directed
المهارات
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field related (Business Administration or Engineer), with minimum of 10 years of directly related experience of project management including project acceptance and closure.
Must be fluent and be able to effectively communicate in English.
Relevant computer proficiency, Knowledge of computers and basic software applications: MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
