الوصف الوظيفي 5.1 Responsible for total patient care including medications, orders & treatments. 5.2 Assist physician in performing special procedures. 5.3 Under the direction & guidance of the Head Nurse, closely monitors cardiac & physical status of the patient under his/her care. 5.4 Assist in emergency nursing procedure necessary for prompt control of changes in patient physical condition. 5.5 Able to perform the techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately & effectively. 5.6 Keeps abreast of changing techniques in critical care nursing & maintains his level of expertise in critical care. 5.7 Accepts responsibilities delegated by Head Nurse or Team Leader & evaluates the nursing care provided in the area assigned. 5.8 Provides leadership in the interpretation, application of philosophy and objectives of nursing service in assigned area. 5.9 As a team leader, directs & develops the ability, skills of staff assigned to his/her jurisdiction & makes team assignments based upon individual patient need. 5.10 Maintains the patient clinical records assist the execution of the physician’s order, keep accurate problem oriented nurses notes according to audit committee standards. 5.11 Assist the physician with procedures & treatment. Administer treatments including sterile procedures. 5.12 Participates in team conferences with team leader & makes up team assignment. 5.13 Performs patient care within the principle of term nursing reporting patient observation or complaints to the team leader or head nurse. 5.14 Administers medications according to hospital policy. 5.15 Practices economical use of equipments & supplies, informs proper authority of discrepancies. 5.16 Attends & support in-service education program. 5.17 Serves in nursing committee when requested. 5.18 Participates in orientation of new staff & Saudi Arabian trainees & students. 5.19 Maintains a clean & safe environment for patient & staff. 5.20 As a team leader responsible for controlling medication keys. 5.21 As a preceptor assist the head nurse in staff evaluation. المهارات Fluent in written & spoken English. Clinically current in area of assignment. Knowledge of Middle Eastern culture & customs.
