الوصف الوظيفي Our client is soliciting applications for a Master Planning Senior Manager for its Proponent Department that is tasked with the coordination for masterplans and assets for The Project, which constitutes the development of a new city. These are underpinned by the highest ambition in terms of offering quality of life to its residents whilst providing a paradigm shift for what defines a world-class environment. The project further sets out to become a model development for how future cities should be designed, delivered and operated. Key Accountabilities & Activities The Master Planning Senior Manager will be a key member of the Company’s Proponent’s Design Coordination Team, including all subordinate Structure Plans and Local Plans. This role will be directly supported by technical and management experts from within The Project Proponent’s Team and by external consultants that are engaged by the Company. Other organizations will provide legal expertise, economics and financial inputs as required. Due to the importance of the project and the desire to progress to implementation expeditiously, the Master Planning Senior Manager needs to have a proven track record of delivering large scale master planning projects and be familiar with fast-track methods of planning, design, procurement and construction to accelerate the delivery of the overall Project. Background, Skills & Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Experience Working and collaborating within the Company’s – The Proponent’s – Real Estate Development Team, Urban Planning and The Projects Department, the role will require design leadership, project management and assist with the management of The Proponent’s master planning development from inception to delivery and handover, including interfaces with related infrastructure assets. Qualifications B.S. or master’s degree in Engineering/Architecture or related discipline. Responsibilities (Non-Exhaustive) • Work closely with The Project Proponent’s, Design Coordination Director and Managers, utilizing his or her extensive master planning experience to ensure all packages are reviewed and approved by Company’s Sectors and Departments before submitting for approval. • Capitalize on extensive knowledge and experience in development of concept and detail strategies, development programs, as well as business cases to review and endorse all stages of project proposal before proceeding to subsequent master planning phases. • Coordinate with all Company’s Sectors and Departments to ensure that their specific review comments and recommendations are addressed, incorporated, and closed out in the respective concept strategy and design deliverables cycles, with appropriate sign-off by all parties. • Ensure all design packages related to the Regional Plan are comprehensively reviewed and any design/constructability issues are identified and resolved through consultation with counterparts on Urban Development (UD) and Projects teams. • Support Proponent Directors and Company’s Urban Planning (UP) to develop and implement design governance process for all elements of the Regional Plan and provide feedback to Design Coordination Director on effectiveness of process and areas for improvement. • Actively participate in the preparation and review of design briefs and scopes of work, from master planning to conceptual design to detailed design, through close coordination with UP and Sectors. • Utilize in-depth knowledge and experience to liaise with UP team to endorse an agreed design schedule, to ensure all reviews are expedited, in-depth and returned to designers in optimum timeframe. • Manage interfaces between managers/review teams to ensure strict adherence to the agreed design schedule and develop a recovery schedule as contingency as and when required. • Coordinate with UP to establish the Engineering/Architectural/Sustainability and other discipline design guidelines, standards and codes, to ensure compliance with international standards and Company’s vision and theme and communicate these guidelines to all project stakeholders. • Extend support, including technical guidance, planning and logistical information, to UD for design competition bids and tenders. • Coordinate with UP team to develop and implement design review KPI’s and champion their implementation across all review activities. • Participate in the recruitment of suitable, qualified Engineers/Architects/ Urban Designers to the Proponent Representative team, if required, and support recruitment activities across the organization. المهارات -15+ years extensive experience in, and understanding of, the design of mega, multi-disciplinary projects, at least 10 of which as Technical Lead in design management. - Detailed knowledge of, and fully conversant with, development of master planning strategies, development programs and business cases in addition to international codes and standards e.g. IBC’s, SBC, BS Codes, Euro Code etc. - Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, design related tasks simultaneously. - In depth understanding of real estate business/venture strategies with ability to problem-solve and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment, with good knowledge of technology to support real estate business management. - Proven ability to build professional relationships and trust, with colleagues and internal and external stakeholders alike. Interpersonal skills to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization. - Excellent communicator (verbal and written) and a good command of English and ability to present confidently to small and large audiences. - Fully computer literate, capable of using specialist building design programs and applications in checking building design standards. - Proficient in Microsoft packages, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc., good knowledge of AutoCad & BIM packages is desirable. - As the Company is in start-up mode with accelerated programs, the Master Planning Senior Manager position requires total commitment and flexibility to achieve key, strategic targets that may require working additional hours. - Strong leadership ability and rational judgement and reasoning skills, with proven ability to communicate effectively at design office, site, management, and client levels. تفاصيل الوظيفة https://www.bayt.com/ar/saudi-arabia/jobs/master-planning-senior-manager-4477870/ |
