Senior System Engineer

Job Description:

Monitor services to ensure maximum availability and persistence of applications, servers, and environments.
Schedule and monitor batch job processing and performance by business requirements and SLAs.
Install, maintain and upgrade servers, shared services, and other public offerings as directed by Hosting and General Technologies Supervisors.
Schedule and monitor server and information backups daily, monthly, and quarterly to proactively ensure business continuity in the event of an incident or problem.
Collaborate with IT Infrastructure Consultants and Senior Systems Engineers to review log files to identify the root cause of incidents or problems. Implement new hosting solutions that aim to enhance uptime and resilience.
Monitor the efficiency and performance of hosting solutions to suggest opportunities for enhancement.
Remain abreast with the latest technology developments and trends to suggest solutions that will better maintain business continuity and IT efficiency and continuity standards.
Managing all the windows and Linux servers
Managing the k8s system
Configured and executed automated build process
Configured and executed automated build process
Designing and delivering cloud solutions (Azure, OpenStack) on an enterprise scale
Automate various infrastructure activities

المهارات
Knowledge & Experience

 Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.

 Good project management skills.

 Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

 Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required.

 Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
