The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users of computer systems, software, and hardware. Other responsibilities will include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, as well as providing system training to users.

Description

The main responsibilities of the IT Support Specialist will be:
Responding to technical issues reported by end-users via phone, email, or in-person.Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical problems with software, hardware, and networking.Providing timely and effective solutions to technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users.Installing, configuring and maintaining computer systems, software, and hardware.Providing training and support to end-users on the use of technology and systems.Managing and monitoring computer systems, including backups, security, and virus protection.Collaborating with other IT professionals to develop and implement IT solutions.Maintaining accurate records of all technical support activities and document procedures and guidelines.Managing certain IT projects.Keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in IT support.

Profile

The IT Support Specialist will be/have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.3+ years of experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.Excellent knowledge of computer systems, software, and hardware.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.Project Management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.Familiarity with remote desktop tools.Experience with cloud-based services such as AWS or Azure.Experience with ERPs such as SAP or Oracle.IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, ITIL, PMP, etc. (preferred)Based in/willing to relocate to Riyadh
