الوصف الوظيفي • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, manage inventory, evaluate quality goods within a budget for each subcategory. Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, distribution capabilities, and the supplier’s reputation and history. Key Responsibilities: • Support Brand Manager in Identifying brands, products and vendors in accordance with market trends and market segment analysis per category. • Prepare purchase orders in line with final negotiations with selected suppliers and in line with organizational targets and requirements, track PO approval and processing. • Research, analyze, and forecast current and future buying trends, market gaps, styles, and products with attention to specified target market and demographics. • Ensure continuous supply of required goods and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve the set margins by category. • Update inventory and maintain healthy stock levels. Conduct periodic reviews of sales and aged inventories and recommend promotional strategies to liquidate inventory. • Liaise with the logistics team for product certification and registration needed. • Plan redistribution of goods, refills and supplier returns across all stores. • Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure product delivery in the best conditions. • Provide unique product content to the marketing department. • Provide detailed product content in specific formats for the e-commerce department. • Implement product launch plans and promotional plans. • Develop Receipt Plans for the developed assortments according to main seasons, product launch, and market trends. • Perform market visits to understand the impact of planned merchandise strategies and to stay informed of business, customer trends and competition scene. • Ensure accurate implementation of planograms by key brands inside the store. • Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers. • Deliver briefs, updates and reports as and when required by management, suppliers, and brand partner. • Analyze sales figures, interpret trends and forecast future sales. Dimensions: • Sourcing by analyzing sales performance and determining trends and patterns. • Own the responsibility of creating Purchase Orders, reports, and accurate data. • Ownership of suppliers’ contracts and agreements. Decision-Making Authority: • Required to work independently and with little supervision. • Takes buying decisions within budget, forecast and margin goals. • Provides input to the Business Plan and all stakeholders. Problem-Solving: • Track and analyze category, brand and product performance. • Implements action plans to liquidate stocks. • Implement action plans to optimize category margin. Communication and Working Relationships: Internal:• Direct communication with brand management & merchandising teams, IT, Finance, Inventory, Marketing, E-commerce, Store Operations Team. Academic Qualifications and Certification : • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar.
