Design and configure SIEM systems: The primary responsibility of an Engineer SIEM Administration is to design and configure Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems to ensure that they are effective in detecting and responding to security threats.
Monitor SIEM systems: The Engineer SIEM Administration is responsible for monitoring SIEM systems to identify and investigate security incidents, and for ensuring that the systems are functioning properly.
Manage security alerts: The Engineer SIEM Administration is responsible for managing security alerts generated by the SIEM system and for responding to alerts in a timely and effective manner.
Develop and implement security policies and procedures: The Engineer SIEM Administration is responsible for developing and implementing security policies and procedures related to SIEM system administration, to ensure that security risks are managed effectively.
Perform risk assessments: The Engineer SIEM Administration is responsible for performing risk assessments on the company’s IT systems and infrastructure to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities that could impact the SIEM system.
