Understands a diverse portfolio of Food Processing equipment and its technical benefits then leverage that knowledge to make equipment and application recommendations and getting Distribution agreements from new suppliers also recommends new technologies and can leverage it by making new distribution partnerships with suppliers and market it to customers.
The role will be in developing the department by recommending new technologies.
Review of customer specifications, commercial documents, and internal standards documentation to determine scope of project supply.
Create sales presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
Utilize CRM to organize and prioritize workload.
Occasional travel to customer facilities for meetings.
Mechanical aptitude or experience to understand manufacturing methods and predict costs.
Experience in food processing equipment or industrial equipment manufacturing
Develop and manage relationships with potential customers and suppliers.
Penetrate the market proactively to generate new business opportunities
Negotiate pricing, payment terms etc. with end users and suppliers.
Provides product, service, or equipment technical formation by answering questions and requests.
Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call schedule
