The Role

As our Middle East Operations Support team continues to grow, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Riyadh.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Preparation of Project P&L;’s
Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
Preparing financial statements
Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas
Performing monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses
Assisting in the design and preparation of budgets for review by management
Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules
Support the financial aspects for the office or project including creation, programming, resourcing and invoicing, as required
Developing effective and collaborative relationships with internal contacts and external stakeholders that contribute to the success of the business

المهارات
Pertinent educational qualification in the field of Commerce, Finance, and Economics.
3-5 years experience in a similar Senior Accounts and/or Finance role would be advantageous;
Previous background working in an engineering consultancy firm
Strong understanding of accounting aspects like balance sheets, cash flow management, business forecast, and profitability.
Adroit soft skills to enable fluent in-house operations and maintain strong partner relationships.
An analytical personality, apt in understanding data by investigating the interplay between various information.
Ability to prepare detailed and accurate reports within the given timeframe as per requirements.
Proficiency in MS Office, SAP with a proven track record of implementing technology in financial tasks.
Flexibility to work anywhere in GCC
Preferable to Joint venture accounting.
