Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role :

Individually manage SAS application platforms.
Up-keep the health of the platform via constant monitoring (manual as well as automated).
Take corrective actions on alerts sourced from monitoring systems
Perform RCA on issues encountered and strive for a permanent fix in production platform.
Perform code deployments to production environment.
Applying any product specific fixes/patches released from SAS on need basis.
Open Tickets with SAS Support in case of any product related issues and track it to closure in co-ordination with design team.
Work in close co-ordination with OS admin to update the environment with latest level patches and fixes
Open RFC’s (required as part of the change management process) for any changes to be performed on production environment.

Job Description:

Desired Experience Range: 2 to 4 years

Required Technical Skill Set: SAS CI/Management Console/Data Integration/IBM Scheduler/SAS EG Usage, Red Hat Linux, Oracle SQL/PL-SQL, SQL Developer/Dbeaver/Toad, Microsoft PPT

Must-Have:

Usage of SAS CI studio, SAS Management Console, SAS Data Integration studio, SAS Environment Manager, IBM LSF Scheduler, SAS EG.
Flexibility to work in morning/general/evening/night shifts.
Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays.
Experience of working on Unix/Linux, Shell scripting.
Experience of working on Database queries and Stored processes
Experience of analyzing views and pl/sql procedures
Perform CR deployments, moving Packages, STPs.
Experience of creating Dashboards through Microsoft PPT.
Experience of Incident and Problem Management.
Users/Groups/Roles/Licenses Management.
Experience of working on Version Upgrades, Downloading & Installing hotfixes.
Experience of working on Vulnerabilities and Risks.
