Job Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Leads a group of nonexempt employees engaged in one or more aspects of facilities maintenance (both inside and outside) within a building complex. Responsible for day to day office operations and procedures. Oversees all facility related activities at multiple properties. Coordinates employee moves/adds/changes. Monitors work order requests expeditiously and brings them to a satisfactory conclusion. Functions as liaison with building property management. Must be able to be on-call for after hours emergencies.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures that repairs to and construction of walls, furniture, electrical/plumbing equipment, etc., is completed efficiently and with the least amount of disruption to other employees. Calls on established subcontracting services as indicated by time or in-house expertise constraints.
May have some responsibility for facilities with hazardous materials on the premises. Helps ensure that assigned personnel working around such hazardous materials are thoroughly trained in and observe all safety measures.
Assigns work to employees, oversees, and tracks the completion of work assignments.
Maintains clear and concise work standards and goals; provides training and development; and assists with performance evaluations and establishing performance goals.
Serves as prime liaison with building management and maintenance for more than one office location.
Serves as primary employee point of contact for all facilities related issues for more than one office location.
