Job Description:
Position Overview: Manages all contract activity for a Division, a major market segment, or for a major project. Travel to the client s offices or to the project site may be required, either before the contract receives final approval or during the life of the contract.
Responsibilities:
•
Contracts and Commercial Lead engages in an advisory and support role in all the activities related to the contact commercial aspects. He works to establish and maintain consistent financial and price application policies and direction.

Puts in place uniform cost and financial progress measurement practices for all Contract packages. He will have to review the Contractor s interim and final pay certificates, including reviewing final pay quantities.
•
Leads and supervises the development of estimates, allocation of contingency and escalation, compilations of cash flow, estimating and cost accounting, review and advise on actual and potential project scope changes and claims, and preparation of value engineering estimates.
•
Maintains an active participation in related professional societies to keep abreast of relevant contractual issues.
•
Negotiates the more difficult, complex, or sensitive issues with clients.
•
Other roles may include assisting the SRE/RE in monitoring the progress schedule and cash flow chart, reviewing change orders and variation orders, and assisting in evaluating claims.
