Summary
An experienced professional for Contractor & Service Provider Development, which is needed to support the Worker Welfare department. The role will support the Manager of Contractor & Service Provider Outreach to develop the companies within our Sector to understand the NEOM worker welfare standards and their role in assuring compliance, to mitigate associated risks at NEOM.
Responsibilities
* Supporting the planning the Contractor outreach programme, maintaining annual plans. * Assist with supporting the Projects’ H&S;Team, specifically in regard to Worker Accommodation H&S;and On-Site Welfare H&S;* Oversight of the NEOM appointed Service Providers within our facilities, supporting and developing their capabilities in worker welfare. * Implement tasks assigned to deliver departmental objectives in an effective and innovative approach * Track and monitor contractors & service providers that have been enrolled on a NEOM WW development programme, assuring those responsible for participating are informed, and regularly messaged. * Work in partnership with colleagues, when required, to develop and implement the worker welfare strategy * Work with or support specialist consultants and team members. * Participate in daily operations for department / Sub-department * Assess and report progress in meeting department objectives to your Line Manager. * Generate necessary reports (i.e., white papers, research papers etc.) for the Management team * Develop and improve processes specific to the role. * Identifying and building relationships with key stakeholders: industry associations, academia, trade associations etc.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in (industry & role) or in relevant field of expertise. * Minimum BA, BSc, BEng in a related field or Equivalent * NEBOSH * Good working knowledge of worker welfare and contractor operations within construction. * Familiarity with industry regulations and labour standards, ideally within blue collar construction sector * Competent organisational skills * Working with consultants, self-management of assigned work duties. * Production of regular internal reports. * Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office and relational databases and software * Strong command of English, ability to speak other South Asian languages an advantage * Skilled cross-functional communicator and experience with building professional relationships * Team player who can also work independently as and when needed
