Worley are currently seeking a suitably experienced and qualified Lead Mining Engineer to support the delivery of successful projects and programs. Your responsibilities include; • Working with the Worley’s global mining team, focused on Front End solutions and support of Engineering Projects around the World. • Providing technical and consulting services to mining Tier 1 and 2 clients and act as a Qualified Person (NI43-101) or Competent Person (JORC) for studies, when required. • Services will be focused but not limited to: o Mine Planning and Design o Mining Method Selection o Mine Optimisation o Cost Estimation (CAPEX and OPEX) o Equipment Selection o Project and Study Management o Due Diligence and Technical Audits o Peer RevieW • Acting as Mining lead, Project Manager, Project Engineer on EPCM, DE and Project Delivery scope/ projects. • Leading and/ or delivering technical and engineering work on PEA, Concept, PFS, and FS technical studies. • Providing input into Worley’s Business Development strategy and maintaining/ expanding your professional network. • Site visits and work on sites as required. Bachelor of Engineering/Science or equivalent. • Minimum Fifteen (15) years direct mining engineering experience required. • Has demonstrated management capabilities in leading diverse teams to bring added value to projects. • Must have thorough knowledge of engineering practices, economic principles calculation methods, international codes, standards, procedures, and specifications. ABOUT YOU • 8+ years of operational hard rock experience. • In depth knowledge of Deswik, Studio 5D planner and other mining industry approved software. • Experience and familiarity with reporting studies to NI43-101 and/ or JORC guidelines will be highly regarded. • Must be willing to travel.
