Role overview
About the Role:
Working within a fast paced, service company, operating within the technology and consumer sectors, you will be required to support day-to-day administration activities to ensure that the Business-as-Usual objectives are achieved, client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are maintained, and business goals are achieved. * Responsible for the Quality Control processes in the area, including root cause, preventative and corrective measures * Ensure stock integrity is applied within the area including exceptions processes * Manage consumables within your area * Ensure that all Operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and visual management is provided and updated as per timeframes * Responsible, as part of a team, for delivery of Operational KPIs and driving business efficiencies * Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) for activities and highlight where these are not in line with client operating procedures or current practices * Support the administration of all resources appropriately while working within budgeted guidelines * Ensure a standard approach to investigations is maintained using the tools and techniques of the Unipart Way * Identify, using Root Cause Analysis, any process failure issues and report and remedy using the tools and techniques of the Unipart Way * Provide administrative support to team leader and colleagues as appropriate * Collate data and providing information to highlight areas of poor performance and opportunities for improvement * Provide information and make recommendations for 5S and Health and Safety standards * Deliver concise and accurate information to operational management and the wider operation
About You:
Essential: * Excellent Communication skills including effective listening and written communication skills * Good IT skills with skills in Microsoft Office * Logical thinker with skills in understanding and interpreting data * Commitment to self-development * An understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) * Experience of adapting to programmes of change * Experience of delivering excellent customer service and understanding customer requirements Desirable: * Knowledge of finished goods or reverse logistics operations * Working experience of the Continuous Improvement techniques Salary Competitive salary and benefits package
