الوصف الوظيفي The Bid Manager is primarily responsible for delegating/allocating estimating/cost and bidding tasks; and setting objectives and monitoring progress of these tasks The secondary function is working on proposals PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Helping determine the client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies · Benchmarking requirements against similar projects · Assessing and comparing options · Checking developing designs against the project budget · Assessing value for money · Checking designs meet legal and quality standards · Undertaking risk management and value management exercises · Advising on procurement strategy · Advising on packaging · Collating and issuing tender documentation · Assessing tenders · Assisting with the valuation of claims · Devising a Strategy for winning a bid · Completing bid to an existing or prospective client, on time and within budget · Assessing and addressing the technical and commercial risks relating to the bid · Researching current and future market trends · Responding to clients and other stakeholders’ queries · Briefing the teams who will carry out the project · Contributing to the written proposal - both in terms of content and presentation (such as preparation of a management summary) · Managing the bid qualification (bid go / no go) process for new opportunities · Dealing with Government partners for authentication, stamping where required · Understanding and resolving complex technical, strategic and business issues · Working with key members of the project team and the client organization to obtain the information required to compile the bid (in the construction industry, members of the project team may include estimators, quantity surveyors, design managers and project managers) · Arranging all post bid reviews with customers, post-contract award المهارات · Fully understands quantity surveying, budgeting, estimating and the bid process · Proficient in the MS Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams; · Experience with contracts and an understanding of basic contract language · Proven leadership and management experience · Experience with working with executive-level staff Organized with knowledge of document management methods · Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken) Preferred: · Bidding and Contract experience · Project management experience · Industry-specific knowledge and background · Cloud software experience تفاصيل الوظيفة https://www.bayt.com/ar/saudi-arabia/jobs/bid-manager-construction-4367717/ |
