Job Description and Requirements

Job Title:

Infection Control Nurse
Job Summary:

* Maintains surveillance of all hospital areas and laboratory data related to infection control, including identification of nosocomial infection. Investigates hospital disease outbreaks, maintains and provides accurate and current records for infection control unit, supervised/audit the compliance to infection control standard of all healthcare workers.
Education and Licensure:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. * Must have completed special course work in epidemiology, infection control or related course work in area of expertise. * Professional Nursing Licensure from country of origin. * Current valid license by the Saudi Council for Health Specialties. * Valid Certification of Basic Live Support or within 6 of commencement of employment.
Preferred:
Board Certificate in Infection Control.
Professional Experience:

Minimum of (5) years continuous working experience in Nursing of which at least (2) Years of recent direct experience in Infection Control in an acute care setting or related facility is necessary.
Preferred:
Working experience in healthcare sector.
