The Job Opportunity
The Solutions Manager will develop a portfolio of rich propositions (in collaboration with the Business Units, Business Development, Solutions Architects) that meet market needs, outperform competitor offerings, and deliver value for customers. The role will have a primary focus on Infrastructure Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance.
Key accountabilities
Working closely with the Business Units to lead the development and delivery of key market propositions specifically in market need assessing and validating the market need and competitor positioning and testing proposition externally with customers.
Build and maintain a detailed understanding of specific customer segments and their P&L;drivers, both in the short and long term, including: customers (profile, type, and needs), markets, environment, competitors (product, pricing, strategies) and cost drivers
Designing and managing the project plan - for delivering each proposition; managing to time, scope, quality and budget and reporting on these at an agreed frequency
Working closely with the Business Units, Solutions Team, to lead the development winning solutions
The role holder will be accountable for the end to end cost estimation for Infrastructure Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance proposals. You will prepare estimations by gathering drawings, specifications, site visit data and related documents in line with all relevant legislation, good practice and the customers service requirements.
Build an understanding of the market, competitor offerings to develop a tailored service – and reflect in a defined benchmarking tool
What we are looking for in our candidates:
Ability to assimilate resourcing and cost information from numerous sources.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to approach people at all levels of seniority.
Excellent negotiation, communication (written and verbal) and analytical skills with ability to assimilate information quickly in a commercial manner is essential.
Articulate, confident communicator and presenter.
Highly competent in MS Office software and relevant tools such as Excel, Powerpoint.
Fluent in Arabic Language
Specific requirements
Experience Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance biased and working in a solutioning, estimating or cost modelling role
Experience in building excel models and populating against asset management information and maintenance standards to create competitive manpower solutions for Hard & Soft FM
Experience in working with a variety of international technical maintenance standards, including SFG 20
Extensive understanding and exposure to the complexities of bids and solutions in the relevant sectors in the GCC
Relevant Bachelor’s degree
