JOB PURPOSE:
To lead and drive Procurement systems related initiatives enabling overall improvement of operating efficiency and transparency while continuously monitoring and reporting on all types of Procurement KPI’s across business units and enabling functions including supporting the improvement actions.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Strategy & Plans:
Contribute to the development and implementation of an effective Procurement strategy ensuring alignment to group strategy, vision, mission and corporate objectives.
Regularly report to the Head of Procurement systems, Governance and compliance on the department KPIs & digitization drive, challenges and issues faced, mitigations taken, etc. as required, to keep them informed and updated on the department’s activities and progression
Digitization:
Lead the digital Procurement initiatives pertaining to Procurement enabling an overall improvement of operating efficiency and transparency by acting as project manager and enabler.
Act as project manager and Identify supply chain opportunities by working closely with all regional procurement heads and other colleagues to help identify gaps that can be automated in line with the vision of having a more agile procurement.
Work towards implementing digital changes and enhancements collaboratively with minimal impact on business operations.
Ensure feedback loops and periodic reviews are put in place to stay updated and have speedy interventions if required.
Reporting:
Consolidate and verify reporting on Procurement KPI’s including supporting the improvement actions.
Consolidate Data analytics to support procurement related business decisions.
Ensure process is continuously improved to fully adhere to the compliance requirements of the business.
Ensure that all functional reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet Acwa power requirements, policies and quality standards relating to all types of procurement
Work with all BU’s and EF’s to streamline their spend out of vendor portal outcome.
Coordinate with BD team to provide historical data related to OEM during operation.
Health, Safety, Security and Environment:
Direct the compliance of all relevant health, safety and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across the function and in all sourcing and procurement contracts to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude.
Related Assignments:
Perform any other duties which the organization may require to be carried out.
COMMUNICATION & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal:
Needs to work closely with Head of Central Procurement, Head of Strategic procurement, PEO, SC Regional Heads , Global delivery centre, Digital, Internal Auditors, Finance Team etc.
External:
Needs to build a rapport with external vendors

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree holder in Engineering, Business administration, Materials Management, Logistics and distribution or equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
10-12 years’ of overall experience within the SC function with proven track record in implementing digitization in a supply chain function.
This position is to be based in Riyadh.
Skills
Understanding of the both S4 Hana and Oracle fusion
Experience on Jaggaer (Preferable )
Excellent ability to communicate effectively with system users internally
Sound Understanding of Procurement processes and KPI’s
Understanding of end-to-end Procurement interactions and interdependencies.
Demonstrated hands-on project management/delivery experience and integration between ERP and Planning solutions.
Experience in leading strategic business improvement and process initiatives using proven methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma, BPI, FPx, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, influence and drive change in a matrixed organization.
Excellent global system implementation and management skills.
Ability to identify and solve complex process and operational business challenges.
Advanced planning and organizing Skills
Ability to identify and implement improvement
Strong presentation skills Expert on Power point, work, MS project and excel
