Telecommunication Cloud Engineer

Urgent requirement for a Telecommunication Cloud Engineer for a multinational Telecommunications Vendor based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as permanent employee. The ideal candidate will be based in Saudi Arabia and preferably speak Arabic.

Role:

Carrier cloud design and solution capability. Be able to independently complete project solution design and communicate and clarify customer-facing issues.
Take the lead in reviewing telecom cloud project solutions, identifying risks, ensuring successful delivery of key projects, identifying project risks, and promoting negative improvement.
Support the delivery of telecom cloud projects, including project solution review, project risk exploration, and problem handling.
Participate in key delivery of telecom cloud projects, identify issues during project delivery, plan the capability building direction, guide capability development, and guide successful project delivery.
Build and improve telecom cloud solution O&M;capabilities. (For example, fault information collection, early fault detection, fast fault diagnosis, and quick fault recovery, ensuring the leading maintenance competitiveness of the telecom cloud solution.)

Principle accountabilities

Have a basic command of telecom cloud and 5G solution services. Have a basic command of the ETSI architecture and components, functions, and service flows.
Familiar with NFV and SDN technologies and experience in project delivery is preferred.
Have general knowledge of enterprise architecture and security requirements, interworking with peripheral systems, and related protocols and implementation principles (such as LDAP, Syslog, SNMP, and RESTful).Familiar With Linux
Experience in frontline delivery, project management, TMO, and product R&D;testing is preferred.
Experience in product delivery, maintenance, and product development of IT and cloud platforms is preferred

المهارات
Essential Skills

Have a good command of mainstream cloud OS (such as OpenStack and VMware) and mainstream COTS (E9000, HP, and DELL) technologies in the industry. Have experience in virtualization and cloud computing project delivery and O&M;.
Have a basic command of operations related to datacom devices and storage devices. Have the capability and experience of quickly locating datacom network problems.
Have strong customer understanding, requirement analysis, and customer management capabilities.
Have good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills. Be sensitive to issues and have strong driving force.
Strong learning ability and strong interest in new technology.
