Your main responsibilities:
Develop and implement the strategic communications plan to support business priorities
Build effective internal networks to gather content from around the business, and map out key messages to tell our story of achievements and capabilities into a content narrative to highlight through our communications channels.
Supporting the leadership team to guide and enable them to engage with our internal employees through various communication tools and channels: email, videos, blogs, artwork-infographics, intranet, internal employee app to deliver key messages
Manage employee events from start to finish, along with a creative theme that links back to our values.
Collaborate with communications colleagues through joint initiatives and share best practice.
Support with high level decision making by providing monthly reporting of communication activities, effectiveness, to improve the efficiency of communication and engagement.
Continuously monitor all internal and external content is on brand and consistent with tone of voice.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
• Eight+ years experience in a previous PR and/or communications role
• Educated to university standard. Good numeracy and excellent English literacy skills are essential.
• Knowledge of digital media communications techniques.
• A good communicator with good interpersonal skills who will be required to deal at all levels both internally and externally.
• Experience of developing, creating and managing promotional campaigns, marketing and PR activities with associated costs and working to budget restraints.
• Experience of Event Management.
• Complete understanding of key functions relating to marketing and PR strategies and initiatives whilst managing multiple work streams.
• Excellent stakeholder management.
• Computer literate, able to effectively use MS Office applications and a good understanding of Content Management Systems.
• Experience in leadership four to five years.
