Technical Lead and mentor of a technical team consisting of junior and senior engineers
Able to work in a matrix environment where day to day activity is managed with the Project Manager and technical development and competence is managed by the technical lead
Responsible for team learning and technical progression
Point of contact for technical assessment and guidance to the system engineers
Assumes overall technical responsibility for the software and services delivery to one or more customer delivery projects
Trusted liaison with the customers for technical aspects of the delivery
Strong interpersonal relationship building and customer facing skills
Ensures the solution delivery to the customer. Including:
*Software deployment, installation, and configuration
*Solution integration
*Training
*Operational handoff
*Customer acceptance
*Other professional services as required
Work with Pre-Sales to support new sales activities
Ability to confidently demonstrate the product and understand business processes and business problems
Work with Product Development and Architecture to support new customer requirements
Contribute to and approve interface software requirements specifications for different equipment vendors, ensuring that file formats and parsing problems, import keys, managed object class models, and general data modeling is accurate and in line with the requirements
Responsible for low-level technical architecture designs and low-level integration designs of the software product including southbound-northbound integrations
Day-to-Day coordination of Systems Engineers involved in customer delivery projects and providing technical guidance, troubleshooting, and support for junior systems engineers.
Work with the software product line and software development as expert beta implementors and ensure full software feature-capability knowledge
Will be an ISO 27001 Champion
المهارات
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (IT, Computer Science, Telecoms)
Minimum of 8+ years proven software implementation experience including leadership roles with commercially available fault management systems for telecommunication operators
Software system integration testing exposure and software acceptance methodologies.
Dedicated knowledge of alarm data collection, parse engines, data loading, alarm generation, correlation, suppression, and advanced fault management solutions
General UNIX/Linx administration knowledge, power tools, shell / perl scripting, sed, awk, and SQL
Dedicated knowledge of telecommunication operator related fault management
Internal components and orchestration Layers: RedHat Openshift, Kubernetes, Elastic, Kafka, Zookeeper, Grafana and onboarding gateway
Must be able to interpret and decode various messaging protocols such as CORBA, SNMP, Kafka, TCP, HTTP, JSON, XML.Familiarity with CI/CD and following tools: Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory, Jira
Excellent written and oral communication skills required
Strong analytic, interpersonal, and communication skills are required
Desired MYCOM OSI or Performance Mangement Systems Experience:
8+ years of Fault Management Solution experience. Preferred Mycom OSI NetExpert software
Automation tool experience. Preferred Mycom OSI ProActor
Solution engineering exposure. Including fault management interfaces, equipment, and use cases across telco technologies
Database knowledge and interaction (Oracle, elastic search, …)
Northbound and southbound interface integration, APIs, and protocols
5+ years’ experience in Design / Specifications, Systems Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), KPIs and reports
Desired MYCOM OSI experience:
MYCOM OSI products: ProAssure, NetExpert, ProInsight
Internal departmental knowledge, teams, team leaders, point of contacts
Languages Required:
Fluent in both written and verbal English. Able to communicate technical information in a business context.
